Foundation "A Gift for Bosnia"

Bosnia is a beautiful country, but still very much in shatters. During the war and its aftermath, many of the local industries closed down and the result is an enduring poverty and high unemployment rate. Bosnia is in grave need for joyfulness.
War is cruel and destructive and rebuilding the country takes time and money.

A few facts on Bosnia:
Bosnia has over 4,6 Million inhabitants
The work force is a mere 1,6 Million of which more than 500.000 are without a job

Currency rate: 1 Euro = 0,51 Kovertibilnih Maraka
EA family of 5 often has no more than 150 euro as a monthly income
However, cost of life is very comparable to northern Europe:
A loaf of bread is about 1 euro
A pair of trousers on the market is around 7 euro
A year's tuition is around 350 euro (!)
To buy meat is a luxury most can't afford. Alternatively a mix of dough and bell peppers is widely used.
Costs of medical treatment are high and often non-refundable.
